In hospitality, the term

'Hands'

refers to the alert Chefs use in the kitchen when they need assistance from their team. When a Chef shouts "hands," it signals that they require help or need an item passed to them, fostering teamwork and efficiency in a busy environment.

'Hands' encompasses various aspects of hospitality, from kitchen operations to customer service.

Bar Service

Our talented and experienced bartenders use their hands to create masterful cocktails and serve each drink with care.

Barbacks

A Barback plays a crucial role at an event, ensuring that the bar runs smoothly and efficiently. With hands ready to assist, they restock supplies, clean glasses, and help the bartenders as needed.

Event Help

With hands-on involvement, team members assist in setting up the venue, arranging seating, and preparing decorations to create an inviting atmosphere. After the event, their hands are just as busy, cleaning up and restoring the space to its original condition.

Banquet/ Cocktail Servers

Banquet and Cocktail servers are the hands that ensure every event runs smoothly. With their attentive touch, they serve drinks and dishes, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Bussers

A Busser is responsible for clearing tables, resetting them with fresh linens,  utensils and making sure the dining area remains tidy. Their attention to detail and readiness to lend a hand makes them an essential part of the event team.

Event Manager

An Event Manager orchestrates successful events by coordinating every detail. They manage logistics, communicate with vendors, and ensure smooth execution, keeping hands on the pulse of the event.

Hello!

I am Mallory Rose, the proud owner of Hands Event Staffing. Born and raised in the vibrant Queen CIty, I have had the pleasure of witnessing and being a part of Charlottes incredible growth over the years. My journey in the hospitality industry began nearly 16 years ago when I first stepped into the world of service as a server at the age of 15.
My career in hospitality has been a fulfilling one, allowing me to experience the best life has to offer while indulging my passion for travel. Over the years, I have worked in all front-of-house positions within restaurants, but my heart has always belonged behind the bar. This role has not only honed my skills but has also opened doors to diverse and enriching experiences.
The opportunity to travel has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my career. Whether it was working in casual dining venues, formal dining establishments, bustling hotels, popular tourist attractions, or even the charming dive bars, each experience added a unique layer to my expertise. I have also had the pleasure of serving patrons during island excursions on a boat, which brought a whole new dimension to my hospitality skills.
Through these experiences, I have not only built a thriving career for myself but also contributed to creating memorable experiences for countless individuals.
The hospitality industry has a unique way of connecting people, and it is this connection that I cherish the most. I am passionate about bringing people together and making every event special with the help of my dedicated team.

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about my journey.
I look forward to continuing to serve the community and bringing exceptional hospitality to every event we are a part of.
